‘ByJoost’ dwelling, Daylesford, with Forster Unico thermally broken energy effecient steel framing system

Working closely with Joost Bakker, the inspiration behind the incredibly efficient straw bale house constructed on a hilltop in Daylesford, Victoria, TPS are proud to be the supplier of galvanised, thermally broken, steel windows and doors for this exciting project (www.byjoost.com).

This project required a combination of fixed lites, single doors, pair doors, and top hung awning windows, all of which were required to have a very high level of thermal insulation.  Additionally, the windows were to be manufactured in steel, have a galvanised coating, and be fully recyclable.  Forster Unico matched these requirements in all aspects, and the result speaks for itself.
